Click the Slideshow button.
In presentation mode, click the Options Menu in the bottom left corner. It has three vertical dots.
Click Captions Preferences, then Toggle Captions. You can change the position and text size of the font. But it is always recommended to have the font be at the bottom of the screen and a large (but not overwhelming) size.
