Tables are not very accessible in PowerPoint. Most screen readers do not announce headers, and you can enter editing mode just to navigate it. In addition, there is very little semantic structure in a PowerPoint table. They are best left out of presentations all together.

After you have completed your chart or graph, be sure it has an alt text. You can make one by right clicking on the chart and clicking the Edit Alt Text button. In the alt text panel, explain your chart or graph in less than 150 characters. You can also include a long description in addition to the alt text if 150 characters is not enough.
