FREDFunds Terms and Conditions*- FREDFunds is a prepaid, declining balance account. Purchases made with the account are subject to NYS Sales Tax Law.
- Cash withdrawals from this account are not allowed.
- FREDFunds may not be used to purchase alcohol, tobacco, lottery tickets, tattoos, piercings, obscene materials or other items deemed inappropriate.
- Deposits to the FREDFunds account may be made during normal business hours at the FSA office, 1st floor Gregory Hall or online at myfredcard.com. Deposits can also be made using ValuePorts located in Gregory Hall, University Commons and McEwen Hall.
- Refunds of any unused balance over $10 can be requested only at the end of the academic year, or upon separation from Fredonia. The request must be submitted in writing to FSA. Requests can be submitted in person at the Gregory Hall office, by mail to FSA, PO Box 286, Fredonia, NY 14063 or on the FSA website http://fsa.fredonia.edu.
- The Faculty Student Association refunds balances in excess of $10 when the account has been dormant for more that one year as of June 1st each year, if a refund has not previously been requested.
- Balances of $10 or less will be held in dormancy for two years. Any dormant balance remaining after two years, as of June 1st, will have fees charged equivalent to the remaining balance.
- It is the responsibility of the card holder to report any lost or stolen FREDCard to prevent others from using your accounts. You may report a FREDCard lost or stolen in any one of the
following ways:- Online at myfredcard.com
- In person at the FSA office located on the first floor of Gregory Hall during normal business hours which are: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. After normal business hours and on weekends, lost cards may be reported at the Convenience Store located on the first floor of University Commons.
- The first card will be replaced at no charge. All subsequent cards have a replacement charge of $20. This fee can be paid with FREDFunds or the Debit Account.
- Opening of the FREDFunds account and the use thereof implies consent by the account holder to share Directory Data, including cardholder name, ID number, card number, home address, campus address, and email address, with Off Campus Advantage (OCA), the OCA ACH Processor and the merchant.
- Students may receive information concerning FREDFunds by contacting the FSA Office during regular business hours. According to FERPA law, with written permission from the student, detailed plan information may also be released to parents or legal guardians.
