📘 Changing the Banner Image on the Course Homepage Instructions

Brightspace allows you to select an image from their library of stock images for your course banner image, or you can upload your own image. The image selected for the course banner appears on the course homepage, My Courses widget, and the Brightspace Pulse app. We encourage you to choose an image that you prefer, and also to choose a different image for each course to minimize confusion between different sections of the same course.

📘 Changing a Module’s Image Within A Course Instructions

By default, your course banner image will preload as the image for each module you create within your course.

To change a module’s image, you will need to edit the module’s description field.

The size of the module image needs to be 768 x 400 pixels to display correctly. You must resize your image to be this size before uploading, because Brightspace does not automatically crop and resize module images. This image must also be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format.
