Eduroam (education roaming), is an encrypted, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Fredonia is proud to be a member and provide eduroam service.  Eduroam allows Fredonia students, faculty, and staff to connect to the Internet while on the Fredonia campus, but also at participating institutions in the United States and abroad. Equally, visitors from participating institutions in the eduroam network can connect to the eduroam wireless network on the Fredonia campus.

Eduroam is available across campus, including outdoor wireless.

How do I connect?

  1. If you were previously connected to FREDsecure, forget the network on your device before continuing.

  2. Select 'eduroam' from the list of available Wi-Fi networks and tap the "Connect" or "Join" button.

  3. When prompted for a username and password, enter your eServices username in the below format and then your eServices password:

How to connect your devices to eduroam WiFi:

If you are trying to connect a device, such a TV or game console, that does not accept WPA2 authentication please follow the instructions to Register a gaming console or streaming device.
