How to access your SUNY Fredonia eServices Log In?

Your eServices account gives you access to campus Wi-Fi, email, YourConnection (Self-service portal to the Student Information System), FREDLearn (online learning platform), computers, and your personal OneDrive (Microsoft cloud storage). To get started, all users need to set up their account through fredPASS—Fredonia’s self-service portal for managing passwords and security settings. 

New Students

  1. Check Your Welcome Info from Admissions or International Education as they will send you the following information via an email and letter: 

  • eServicesID@fredonia.edu – used to as your primary login ID into campus systems  

  • Fredonia ID – a campus-only ID that replaces your SSN for internal use only. Your Fredonia ID starts with F and often referred to as your F#. 

 2. Your eServices ID is your username and login ID to access all systems where you are asked to provide a username or login ID. Be sure to always enter your full eServicesID@fredonia.edu username when logging into services unless there is an indication otherwise. Usually, 4 letters of your last name + last 4 digits of your F#. (e.g. Allson Smith = smit1234@fredonia.edu). 

 3. Set Up fredPASS  to

  • Answer security questions 

  • Set/Change your password 

 4. After you have paid your deposit set up your Microsoft Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and then start using campus services such as your email by going to https://outlook.office.com. Log in to Wi-Fi, email, FREDLearn, computers, and your OneDrive. Click here:https://fredonia-edu.atlassian.net/wiki/x/KgALag for further assistance with MFA.

Readmitted or Visiting Students

(Matriculated, Nonmatriculated Undergrads, and Nondegree Grads) 

  1. Welcome Information Distribution - Readmitted students will receive welcome materials from their academic department. Visiting students will receive communications from the Office of Extended Learning. These materials, sent via email and letter, will include:

  • eServices ID@fredonia.edu: Your primary login credential for accessing campus systems.

  • Fredonia ID (F#): A campus-specific identifier used in place of your Social Security Number for internal purposes. It begins with the letter "F."

 2. Your eServices ID is your username and login ID to access all systems where you are asked to provide a username or login ID. Be sure to always enter your full eServicesID@fredonia.edu username when logging into services unless there is an indication otherwise. Usually, 4 letters of your last name + last 4 digits of your F#. (e.g. Allson Smith = smit1234@fredonia.edu).

  • Set up your recovery questions

Employees 

  1. Contact HR - After hiring, call (716) 673-3434 to get your eServices account and Fredonia ID.  

  2. Your eServices account is your username and login ID to access all systems where you are asked to provide a username or login ID. Note: Usually, your primary email address is your first.lastname@fredonia.edu and your secondary email address (alias) is your  eServices account. Be sure to always enter your full eServicesID@fredonia.edu username when logging into services unless there is an indication otherwise. 

 3. Setup your eServices account by going to  fredPASS: 

  • Answer security questions 

  • Choose recovery options 

  • Set/Change your password 

 4. Set up Microsoft Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and then start using campus services such as your email by going to https://outlook.office.com. Sponsored Guests 

  1. Sponsored Guest Procedure - Visitors must follow the Sponsored Guest Account Procedure:  View Guest Setup Guide  

  2. Set Up fredPASS and MFA- Once approved the Sponsored Guest account has been approved and created, use fredPASS to manage setup and manage your password. Be sure to always enter your full eServicesID@fredonia.edu username when logging into services unless there is an indication otherwise. 

  3. Set up Microsoft Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and then start using your approved campus services such as your email by going to https://outlook.office.com. Log in to Wi-Fi, YourConnection, email, FREDLearn, computers, and your OneDrive. Click here:https://fredonia-edu.atlassian.net/wiki/x/KgALag for further assistance with MFA.

Note: SUNY Fredonia offers Eduroam wireless access for participating visitors.
