How do I add a link to a website or YouTube video in OnCourse?

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log on to OnCourse and access the course you would like to add the link to.

  2. Press the "Locate the green gear icon on the upper right hand side of the page. The Gear icon is located on the upper right hand side of the pageImage Added

  3. Select Turn editing on " button in the top right corner. Image Removedfrom the drop-down menu.    Click on the drop-down menu to the right of the gear icon and click on the Turn editing on linkImage Added

  4. In the section where the link should be, click the Add an activity or resource link. Image RemovedClick on Add an activity or resource in the section of the course where you want to add the linkImage Added

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window and select URL.Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window and choose URLImage Modified
  6. Press Add.

  7. Enter a Name for your link in the "Name" field.

  8. Enter the link to the website or YouTube video in the "External URL" field.

  9. Press Save and return to course.
