How do I grade my discussion boards using the Rating feature?

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Forum that the discussion took place in
  2. Read the first student post
  3. In the Rating drop-down menu choose the value of the post
    Choose the point value from the Ratings drop-down menu
  4. Continue reading and recording values for the discussion board
  5. The gradebook will total the points for each student and place those totals in the gradebook.
