Grackle is an accessibility tool for Google Docs, Sheets, and SheetsSlides. Grackle can be used to check documents for accessibility and provide tips on how to make content more accessible. Grackle is licensed and available to all Fredonia faculty, staff, and students.
Grackle can be installed within Google Docs, Sheets, and Sheets Slides individually from the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Open Google Docs or , Sheets, Slides
At the top of the screen in the Menu bar, select “Extensions” menu, then “Add-ons” and “Get add-ons”.
In the Google Workspace Marketplace window, search for “Grackle Docs” (for Google Docs) or , “Grackle Sheets” (for Google Sheets), or “Grackle Slides” (for Google Slides)
Install the add-on and accept all prompts. Make sure you are logged in to your Fredonia Google account.
Once complete, under “Extensions” menu, Grackle Docs, Sheets, or Sheets Slides will be at the bottom of the menu.
