How do I make accessible tags in Adobe Acrobat?

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

Section 5.1: Changing the Language for a Set of Text

If your document contains any language changes (for example, a sentence or passage in a different language than the document language), you must specify this. To do this, you’ll use the Object Properties dialog in the Tags Pane.

If the passage stands alone in a block-line element such as a paragraph, you’ll apply the language change to that block-line tag.

If it’s an inline language change, such as just one sentence within a paragraph, you’ll need to wrap it in a <Span> tag first, and then apply the language change to the Span tag.

  1. Open the Tags Pane.

  2. Right click the tag that matches the content with the language change.
