| The Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of software that is licensed through an agreement between SUNY and Adobe to provide licensing for the Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Acrobat DC for university owned computers. Once a license has been assigned, the licensed individual can install one additional copy on a personal computer by logging into Adobe.com.
| Teaching Faculty & Staff |
| The current agreement with Adobe provides licensing for Adobe Acrobat DC (Acrobat Pro) to half of the campus faculty and staff and Creative Cloud (which includes Acrobat DC) for the remaining half. The software includes access to the Adobe collection of desktop apps that can be used for productivity and creative work. A full listing of the desktop apps that are available can be found on the Adobe website at http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/catalog/desktop.html. |
| SUNY Fredonia Faculty and Staff can request for this service through the ITS Service Center.
| Once a request has been received, ITS will add to the License group and deploy the software to the requestor's campus computer.
| In order to participate in the agreement, faculty and staff must have a university assigned computer that meets the minimum system requirements for the Adobe Creative Cloud. Current minimum system requirements are available at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html. |
| This is a campus wide agreement and as such there is no charge to the requesting department. |
