BLUEview Network Management: Resetting Displays and Players
The BLUEview Network displays and players have been installed and configured to play digital signage. All displays are locked to prevent any tampering and should always be powered on. However, there are a few issues that can happen.
If you notice the power is off (black screen):
Push the power button on the display (usually right side or bottom) to turn it back on.
Some displays may require more than one button push until you hear a "click" sound (Viewsonic displays).
The display should power on and show the digital signage after a minute.
If your display is on, but the screen is showing:
“No Internet” message
“aw, snap!” error message
Other message or a white screen
Old events are appearing
Display is stuck on one slide
→ Reset the player by unplugging the "wall wart" power supply and plugging it back in.
