Scanning at a FREDprint Station
This guide will discuss how to scan in general with a FREDprint station. It will utilize screenshots from the HP 62665 model MFP, but Toshiba and other scan enabled FREDprint stations will be similar.
Steps to scan on a FREDprint station:
Log into the station by either:
tapping your FredCard on the card reader, or
entering your passcode
Select Scan from the options presented to you.
If needed, you can configure the options for scanning, including Color vs Greyscale, quality level, and single or double sided.
At this time, SUNY Fredonia has it configured to only allow scanning to your own email. Due to the sensitive nature of some items that might be scanned, it is important that they stay within campus owned systems. Once it has been emailed to yourself, it is able to be saved where you would like to store it or to forward to its final recipient.
Once all of that information is added, you can scan using the auto document feeder, or the glass scanning surface by clicking on Scan Document.
