POLICY CONTENT

Purpose

Since all undergraduate students at Fredonia are guaranteed the course repeat option, and all students should be treated with equity, it was deemed necessary to pass a course repeat option policy for graduate students.

Applies To
Policy Statement

It is the policy of SUNY Fredonia, that with prior approval of the Chair of the Department (of the course) and the Dean of Graduate Studies, graduate students may elect to retake up to two courses during a single degree program and to exercise the course repeat option after the grade for the retaken course has been submitted to the College Registrar.  A single course may be retaken only once and must be completed within two years after the completion of the original course.  Tuition waivers may not be used to pay for a repeated course.
