What do I use YourConnection for?


YourConnection is one of the tools that students of Fredonia use the most. This resource is used to access the most important information for each student and the classes that they will take. The following information details the most common uses of YourConnection:

  • Accessing YourConnection

    • Open the Fredonia Homepage: https://www.fredonia.edu/
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “YourConnection”
    • Login with your F-number and PIN
      • If you forget your PIN or are otherwise locked out of YourConnection, please contact the ITS Service Center at (716)-673-3407
    • Click on the “Student” tab

  • Paying the E-Bill
    • In the “Student” tab click on the “Student Account” link
    • Click on “View Ebill or Pay online”, you will be brought to the Legal Disclaimer page
    • Once you have reviewed the disclaimers click on the “I have reviewed and accept the following terms” button
    • You will be brought to the Touchnet page with your balance information

  • Searching for Classes
    • In the “Student” tab click on the “Registration” link
    • Click on “Class Search” and on the following page, select the semester you wish to register for
    • On this page you will apply various filters to adjust your search results.
    • Once you have selected your desired filters you can click on “Class Search” at the bottom and your results will be displayed
    • All information about each course will be displayed. The icons also display useful information and can be clicked on to provide additional information. Make sure to copy the CRN number to show your advisor
    • More tips and information about registration in general can be found on the Registrar's website.

  • Adding or Dropping Classes
    • In the “Student” tab click on the “Registration” link
    • Click on "Add or Drop Classes" and on the following page, select the semester you wish to register for
    • If adding classes, enter the CRN information that you found in the Searching for Classes steps above and select Register
    • If dropping courses, click on the drop down menu in the action column and select "drop web". Then click submit changes

  • Accessing DegreeWorks
    • In the “Student” tab click on the “Student Records” link
    • Click on “Degree Evaluation” and you will see Degree Works open in a separate window

  • Viewing Grades
    • In the “Student” tab click on the “Student Records” link
    • You can click on either “Midterm Grades” or “Final Grades”
    • Either link will require you to select a semester
