Adobe Creative Cloud Student Purchasing Walkthrough

Note: These steps were provided by SUNY ITEC. As time allows, SUNY Fredonia will expand upon them to create a significantly more Fredonia-centric set of steps.

First, proceed to the SUNY Adobe Storefront.

Main Site: Click SUNY Login to go to the SUNY Federated login page. A F.A.Q. is available without authentication

SUNY Secure Sign On:

First, select your campus. If you are already logged in, some of these steps might be skipped.

Secondly, login with your standard eServices credentials, remembering to use @fredonia.edu

Redirected back to the SUNY Adobe software store front:

You can either Click the heading or the image to go to the product description or you can just add to cart. Users are restricted to a single item in their cart.

Shopping cart:

From the cart, users can review their order and proceed to checkout 

Checkout:

Fill out the form. Taxes are computed based on the billing address. First name, last name and email address are pulled from SUNY federation and are non-editable. 

Order complete:

Users can view the details of their order and an email receipt will be sent

My account:

This area permits users to review the details of their past orders

Email notifications:

A total of three emails are generated from the purchasing process, an initial receipt, a status message indicating that the processing to pass the user information to Adobe has completed and an email from Adobe with installation instructions

To start the Creative Cloud client install:

From the third email referenced above, press the "Get started" button

Login to the SUNY Federation:

The username & password are the same as any other federated application / website, you should use your standard eServices, including the @fredonia.edu

Select profile:

You will be redirected to the adobe site and select the "Adobe Storefront" profile

 Install Creative Cloud desktop client:

From the web site find Creative Cloud and select Download

Creative Cloud desktop client:

From the desktop client you can install any Adobe software available in our plan.
